Elizabeth joined the NWBDA team in July 2006. She has been in the banking industry since 1985 and involved in the SBA industry since 1990. Elizabeth is actively involved in all SBA programs and related advocacy groups. She works with bankers and business owners to properly structure projects so that it maximizes the benefits of the SBA loan programs. Her goal is to help business owners achieve the dream of purchasing a building for their business operations. In 2002, the SBA named Elizabeth the Financial Services Advocate of the Year for the State of Washington. Additionally, she is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in business administration. Elizabeth serves the counties of Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Jefferson, Island, and San Juan in western Washington.
Northwest Business Development Association (NWBDA) is a Certified Development Company (CDC), authorized by the SBA to administer the 504 Loan Program. Through the SBA 504 loan program, NWBDA works with business owners to provide up to 90% financing for the purchase of commercial real estate or major equipment for their operation. Most all for-profit companies are generally eligible for this program.
