Jennifer Tam

Tam, a former business case manager for the nonprofit Rainier Valley Community Development Fund, acts as a single point of contact for budding restaurateurs trying to navigate the 17 regulatory agencies involved in opening a Seattle restaurant. She’s their advocate, a culinary closer with a mind for business and a heart for people—and good food. Tam grew up on the Oregon coast helping her Chinese immigrant parents with their restaurant, which just celebrated its 40th year. Now, she fields calls on everything from permit assistance to marketing and licensing. Jennifer was named one of Seattle’s most influential people in 2015.
