WorkSource – worksourcewa.com
WorkSource is a statewide partnership of state, local and nonprofit agencies that provides an array of employment solutions and training services to job seekers and employers in Washington. Customers access services electronically through WorkSourceWA.com or through a network of more than 60 WorkSource centers, affiliates and connection sites.
SharedWork – SharedWorkWA.com
SharedWork is a business-friendly-program that helps employers retain workers at reduced hours rather than laying them off completely.
Paid Family & Medical Leave – PaidLeave.wa.gov
Washington will be the fifth state to offer statewide paid family and medical leave benefits starting in 2020, but businesses have action to take in 2019.
With few exceptions, all Washington businesses will:
– Collect and remit insurance premiums through payroll deductions starting on Jan. 1, 2019
– Report employee wages, hours, and more on a quarterly basis
Washington’s Paid Family & Medical Leave program provides additional help to small businesses, including grant money to help cover costs associated with an employee on leave. Stop by our booth to learn more!
