WATF provides low interest loans to people with disabilities for
all types of assistive technology, home and vehicle modifications
and for business equipment for home based employment or self-employment
(including start-ups). WATF also provides information, referrals
and workshops relating to small business planning and set up as
well as assistive technology selection and funding. Our assistive
technology loans can be used for any type of device that helps and
individual with a disability live or work independently. Our business
equipment loans can be used for any equipment that enables an individual
with disability to work effectively from home as an employee or
as an entrepreneur. Examples include computers, fax machines, high
speed internet access, specialized business equipment such as sewing
machines and even vehicles.
